Hi, I’m Ana Coello. I was born in Honduras and came to New Orleans in 1981, where I continued my lifelong love affair with the arts. In 1986, I enrolled in the New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts where taking classes in drawing, color theory, and still life painting, with instructors Ausiklis Ozols, Darrel Brown and David Noll.
Intervening years found me living in Venezuela and Switzerland. Since 1998, I have called Houston my permanent home. In Houston, I continued my studies at the Glassell School of Art, under the instruction of Patrick Palmer. I have been a member of Northwest Art League, Lone Star Art Guild, and Houston Art Society.
I have three sons, Rafel, Jesus and Jack.
